"Throat of Fire"

In 1999, after a long period of rest, the Tungurahua Volcano (which is Throat of Fire in the indigenous language Quichua and Rahua) started an eruptive process that continues to this day and most recenly increased in intensity spitting out flanks of volcano.
Fortunately, no one has been hurt and for my loved ones.......I am miles away on the coast where I am unharmed except by a VERY light dusting of ash. I do, however, like tracking the volcanos current activity on Instituto Geofisicos website
http://www.igepn.edu.ec/.
As of now, it is producing violen explosions with ash plumes rising to 7-9 km but the due to the unpredictability of the volcano, the US Embassy is advising American citizens to evacuate the BaƱos area until the situation subsides. Ill keep you all posted.
